ROYAL ASCOT-INSPIRED LUNCHEON

Your guests are invited to step into the British aristocracy's Social Season. Over a delicious three-course luncheon, they will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the historical background of our English summer events.

In one of our beautiful Cotswold country house hotel's private dining rooms, guests will learn about the tradition of debutantes, the societal elite of the Regency, and the unwavering British class systems, all accompanied by British dining etiquette.

Step into the world of the British aristocracy's Social Season with a unique opportunity for your guests to immerse themselves in the historical background of our various summer events, their contemporary expectations, comprehensive dress codes and anticipated protocols for attendance. This unique experience is a chance to learn about British society and culture like never before.

Our principal, Emma Dupont, is a certified British etiquette coach. She begins by welcoming your guests into the opulent splendour of a private space at one of our carefully selected, exclusive partner venues nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds. Here, they will be offered a glass of champagne* and invited to relax in a gentile and luxurious environment while Emma delivers historical facts and anecdotes that dominate our British class systems and posh (aka fancy) events and foibles.

Understanding the UK's traditional events presents a remarkable opportunity for fans of the TV series Bridgerton to immerse themselves in the splendour of England. On their visit, they may even encounter British royalty, a prospect that Emma will ensure they are well-prepared for.

Guests will then enjoy an engaging and captivating session focused on the fundamental aspects of British dining etiquette while they enjoy their three-course luncheon. The session will explore various formal and informal dining settings in an interactive and entertaining fashion tailored to the participants' demographics.

Throughout the meal, they can also ask our principal questions about British etiquette, customs, and traditions, ensuring they leave entertained and well-informed.

We invite your guests to get into the spirit of things by dressing up for the occasion in Morning Dress. This is a rare opportunity for ladies to wear a hat and for gentlemen to adorn a top hat and tails (note that this dress code is optional).

Our event photographer will accompany us to capture memories that will last a lifetime.

By the end of the experience, your guests will have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of British customs and traditions, enhancing their cultural knowledge.

*Non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout.
